MARCH OF IMPROVEMENT
IN the age of progressive knowledge, many
things herctolorc dark and obscure have be
come clear and practical—not only in relation to
il e arts and sciences, but in every department
01 human industry. In no branch perhaps, has
the march »f improvement been much greater
than in the healing art, in producing safer and more
efficient remedies than heretofore known.—Noth
ing is soefiectual or so often needed as the Ver
mifuge prepared by Dr. Little to c re chi dren of
worms, besides being always safe and sure, it will
restore feeble or puny children to health again il
; givan a evv times.—Many cases of fever, violent

I origin.- te from worms, and are consequently cured
! iu a very short time*by the use of this medicine.
ir, 'f'-nroe county, a few days ago, a ehild was vio
lently itlackt"4 v/ith a ->ough and fever, and after
-cr_, al aays of regular phy sicking its life was des
paired ot, when Kittle’s Vermifuge was given,
which caused the expulsion ol a large quantity of
worms', and the child recovered immediately.
Families consulting their own interest, will find
it greatry to (heir advantage to procure the arti
cle in dollar bottles, and use it as advised tor all
the common ailment* of children. Generally speak
ing, more than half the cases that occur are from
worms, as little as many may think of it. By those
who have tested it, and many have, the fact is well
known, that Dr Little’s Anodyne Cough Drops
and Vermifuge will cure most cases ot children
and half grown persons quicker than any other
remedies, adopt what course you may.
The following case, from a very respectable
planter of Houston county, demonstrates an im
portant principle. Read it!
Houston Co., August, 1849.
SfrDr. Little —Dear Sir: After having usea several
vermifuge medicines, and even calomel, without
success in relieving our child of worms, we then
gave vour Vetuiifuge according to directions,
w hich very soon earned the expulsion of a large
quantity ol worms.—After that the child got well
immediately. E. EZELL.
Its use clearly Proven.
Dr. Little —Sir: Having been alflicted with a
cough for some time past, I have consequently
tried several preparations lor it, and among them
the Balsam of Wild Cherry; but I find your Ano
dyne Cough Drops much superior to that or any
other medicine 1 ever used —-Besides, 1 have used
them in ray family in cases of croup, and fina them
- j a most excellent remedy for it.
Respectlully, Sec. J. J. JAMESON.
Talbottun, 1843.
Dr. Little —Dear &ir : I feel it a duty to inform
you of a case iu which you Anodyne Cough Drops
was used wi'h so much success. For the last twen
ty yea;s a negro man of mine has had severe cough
anil asthma coming on by spells every three or four
weeks, and sometimes with so much violence as
• nearly to prove fatal. He Las taken much medi
cine. besides being attended by physicians, with
but little benefit. During an attack, Ur. Sinead
prescribes your Cough Drop;, which soon relieved
r the cough and difficult urea ing; he continuedthe
f medicine for aljfew ’ sy« en he had no more
symptoms of the distas r Several months have
- elapsed since, and ther been no return what
ever. and now he is enjoyi ig excellent health. I
have known the medicine .e be used frequently for
coughs colds. Ac, with excellent effect. Truly
yours. WM. L. WALKER.
Dr. LUiie —Sir 1 was attacked with a severe
or. .. it, pain and soreness in thebreait. for several
* day.-, when I be;ran taking your Anodyne Cough
Drop . After a few doses, I feil completely reiiev
