COTTON. — We have had rather a quiet mar
ker to-day, but the sales made were at yesterday's
prices.
SAVANNAH, Dec. 13. —Cotton —There was a
better demand for Cotton yesterday, tbe sales
amounting to 1,910 bales at 9to 10-J cents. The
teeling in the market, was slightly in favor of buy
ers ; some sales reported to be fair Cotton were
made at 10| cents.
MACON, Dec. 12. Cotton. —Since tbe 'ate
news by the Europa, our market has been quite
unsettled. We are unable to give quotations. —
The market has declined from one-forth to three
eighths of a cent. We believe that the highest
price paid yesterday was cents—but holders are
unwilling to sell fine Cottons at that price.
ATLANTA, Dec 14. Cotton. —Notwithstand-
ing the rainy weather yesterday, trade in Cotton
was brisk, and sales heavy. Fair, sold at a9j}c.
Corn sold at -40 a45; Oats 28; Peas 30; Butter
12A a 15; Eggs 13; Pork 40; Potatoes 25c.
