It makes a speedy and permanent cure, without
the least restriction to diet, drink, exposure, or

We give no long quackish recommendations to
deceive the public. If the medieine does not
speak for itself, no one shall speak for it. Our object
is to notify where it can be had, and the proprietor
challenges a single case of recent disease to be
brought in which the Mixture will not effect a
rapid cure, under a forfeiture of SSOO.
This is a disease that unfortunately pervades
ranks of society—high, low, rich and poor, matri

a remedy by which they can cure themselves
without the least exposure in the shortest time

HASTINGS'S
COMPOUND SYRUP OF NAPTHA.
NOT ONLY a Positive, but a Warranted
CURE for Consumption and all Diseases ol
the Lungs. This medicine has decided the dis
pute about the curability of consumption, and sat
isfied the medical faculty and all who have used
it, that consumption and all affections of the lungs
can not only be cured, but they are as easily and
simply cured, as almost any of the disorders to
which the human frame is liable. The operation
of a single bottle, which costs sl, is sufficient to
satisfy any patient—if not altogether too far gone
with the disease —of this fact; and even a single
dose gives evidence of its extraordinary influence
in arresting and eradicating the malady by the
immediate relief it affords. This is no quack oi
secret remedy. Dr. Hastings, its discover, is one
of the most emiueat physicians of the age, and has
made a full disclosure of its history, and all its
component parts to the world, not wishing to incur
the responsibility of confining to himself, for the
sake of profit, a secret which was calculated to
do such universal good. And suc h has been the
wonderful result of its operations, that the Loudon
Lancet. Medical Times, and the most eminent
physicians of both hemispheres, are anxiously call
ing upon sufferers to have immediate recourse to
it, and proclaiming that of all known medicine, it
alone has positively established its efficacy by un
deniable proofs of curing consumption and all other
diseases of the lungs

ISAAC BROOKS’, JR., CASE!
Go and see him and you will say the half has not been
told!!!
We the undersigned having visited Mr. Issac
Brooks, Jr., at the office of Messrs. Rowand &
VValton,373 Market street, Philadelphia, consider
his case the most remarkable one we have ever
witnessed or heard 01.
His disease was Scrofula, and terrible must have
been his twelve years’ conflict with the destroyer!
His Palate, the entire roof of his Mouth,Nose,Upper
Lip, and lower lid of the Eye have been destroy
ed, his Face nearly eaten up, and part of the Jaw
Bone carried away. And yet we can give no de
scription ol his case.
Mr. B. informs us that in January last, the whole
interior of his mouth, as well a s most of his face
was a mass of deep and painful ulcers.
On the 14th of January last, ne commenced ta
king Dr. Cuilen’slndian Vegetable Panacea,which
checked the disease in a few-days, and from that
time the cure has progressed without intermission.
New flesh has supplied the place of the deep ul
cers, and though badly disfigured, his face is sound
and his general health is restored.
We aie assured thatm the treatment of Mr.
Brooks’ci'se no Mercurials, Ointments, or Caustic
applications have been used, —in fact, the Panacea
clone, has wrought this wonderful change.

A CERTAIN CURE FOR THE PILES.
Dr. Cullen’s Indian Vegetable Piles Remedy,
Is a domestic preparation, which has been used
with entire success for many years. Being an in
ternal medicine, it has decided preleience over
jutward applications, which are but paliatives and
not curatives. This medicine acts upon the dis
eased parts, producing healthy action, and a per
manent cure, which we warrant, or refund t/iemo
ney.
NO CURE NO PAY.
Dr. Cullen’s Indian Vegetable Remedy.
Warrented to cure, or the money returned.—
This medicine is prepared from an Indian receipt,
obtained from one of them in the far West at great
expense. Those who have been familiar with the
Indians know that they can and do cure Yenerial
without the knowledge of Murcury, Balsam, or
anything of the kind The afflicted have now an
opportunity of being cured without the danger of
Mercury or the unpleasant use of Balsam. The
medicine is pleasant to the taste, and leaves no
smell on the breath.
Dr. Cullens Vegetable Indian Specific for
Female Complaints,
This medicine is fast taking the place of every
preparation heretofore used for diseases arising
from weaknes or other causes. All that is neces
sary to secure this medicine a place in the Do
mestic practice of every family where such amedi
is needed, is a trial.
It speaks for itself-—is innocent in its operation
and no injury can arise from its use at any time.
