yestprkay as the latter quotation. Franps remain
aboitt the same as firevicusiy quoted.
Freights —We continue to q uote Cotton to Liver
pool; square bags, at gd., but would remark that
the increase in the tonnage .during tbe week, has
made it excessively dull. The Havre rate is the
same as formerly, viz. square bags Cotton |; Rice

brought by the steamer Baltic, has been received
here since our last publication, shewing a further
advance in the Liverpool market on ail descrip
tions of American Cotton of sto £d. Tlie recep

and on the 2d inst. 227 bales changed hands at the
