COMPOUND SYRUP OF NAPTHA,
NOT ONLY a Positive, but a Warranted
CURE for Consumption and all Diseases o!
the Lungs. This medicine has decided the dis
pute about the curability of consumption, and sat
isfied the medical facultv and all who have used
it, that consumption and all affections of the iu igs
can not only be cured, but they are as easily and
dimply cured, as almost any of the disorders to
which the human frame is liable. The operation
of a single bottle, which costs #l, is sufficient to
satisfy any patient—if not altogether too far gone
with the disease—of this fact; and even a -ingle
dose gives evidence of its extraordinary influence
in arresting and eradicating the malady by the
immediate relief it affords. This is no quack 01
secret remedy. Dr. Hastings, its discover, is one
of the most eminent physicians of the age, and has
unde a full disclosure of its history, slid all its
component parts tc the world, not wishing to incur
the responsibility of confining to himself, for the
sake of profit, a secret which was calculated to
do such universal good. And such has been the
wonderful result of its operations, that the London
Lancet, Medical Times, and the mos> eminent
physicians oi'both hemispheres, are anxiously call
ing upon sufferers to have immediate recourse to
it, and proclaiming that of ail known medicine, it
alone has positively established its efficacy by un
deniable proof s of curing consumption and all other
diseases of the lungs

Go and see him and you will say the hhlf has not been
told!!!
We the undersigned having visited Mr. Issac
Brooks, Jr., at the office «»f Messrs. Itowand &.
Walton, 373 Market street,Philadelphia, consider
his case the most remarkable one we have ever
witnessed or heard of.
His disease was Scrofula, and terrible must have
been his twelve years' conflict with the destroyer!
His Palate, the entire roof of his Mouth,Nose,Upper
Lip, and lower lid of the Eye have been destroy
ed, nis Face nearly eaten up, and part ot the Jen
Bone carried away. And yet we can give no de
senption ot his case.
Mr. B. informs us that in January last, the whole
interior of his mouth, as well a most of his face
was a mass of deep and painfm ulcers.
On the 14th of January last, ae commenced ta
king Dr. Cullen's Indian Vegetable Panacea, which
checked the disease in a few days, and from that
time the cure has progressed without intermission.
New flesh has supplied the place ol the deep ul
cers, and though badly disfigured, his face is sound
and his general health is restored.
We are assured that m the treatment of Mr.
Brooks'case no Mercuiials, Ointments, or Caustic
applications have been used, —in fact, the Panacea
clone, has wrought this wonder!Ui change.
