ELECTRIC WASHING FLUID,
For washing in hard or soft water.
THIS is the nmy genuine article to be found
in toe world ; and possesses double tbs pow
er of any .hmg ever oiscovered tor washing
clothes, at a trifling e, doing away with
wash boards at once In fact, it seems to be the
lon* sought Pni osopher’s Stone, or universal sol
vent; seeming a magical preparation, its opera
tion being of the most astonishing character. A
common sized wash : ng may be done with one gil
of this Flu d, in 1* ss than two hours. It soften
and removes she dirt, leaving the articles of tht
mos - brdliaut whiteness. It being as harmless it
its operations a» pure water, and c othirig will
wear mueh longer than when i übbed to pieces by
tbe common method of washing.
This Fluid is a powerful agent, to be used in all
cases whee s >ap is required, parricuiar'y for
cleansing milk uiensils, cleani'-g windows and
paint, scouring floors ; m short, it is beyond a pre- i
cident, a* i.s use is univers iini he washing world I

rarely found it necessary to use ai y thing eise to

Macon, October , 1848.
Dr. Little—sir: Your Vermifuge medicine,
by the advice of Dr. Gorman, has been used witn
a happy result in my family, without the least un
pleasant effects, or any other medicine; it was
given to a very sick chi d, who discharged a quan
tity of worms and was immed, ate.y relieved.
Yours, truly,
(Signed) George W. Seymore.
Dr. Little—Sir : I have used several vials of
your Vermifuge in rry family, and believe it su
perior to Fahnestock's, or anything I have ever
seen. In Let, with the use oi this medicine, and
your Anodyne Cough Drops, in cases ot coughs
and colds, I have succeeded in curing two or three
cases that I otherwise would have had o call in a
physician to. Respectfully, &e.,
(signed) Simeon Castleberry.
Talbot Coun'y.
In Macon alone, there has been hundreds of vi
als of Little’s Vermifuge >old within the last few
months, besides that put up in dollar Bottles, whictj
are one third cneaper. VVhcrtver this medicine
has been in roduced, it has gone well: and in point
of snccess stands unrivat ed. Already many iami
lies have become intelligent upon this subject,
and if the community was generally so, no more
children would be choked to death by worms or
other fatal effects to be deplored from such causes.
The Veimifu.e is, the veiy best medicine that
can be given—to puny or drooping children, even
if they had no wdrms.

Southport, Conn., Jan. I, 1848.
Messrs. Sands : Gentienu n— Sj mpathv for the at

effected by your Sarsaparilla in the case of n y wife
She was se> erely s fflicted with the Sc ofula on djflei
ent parts of the body ; the glands ot the neck were
greatly enlar ed and her limbs much mvg len. After
suffering over a year, and finding no relief from the re
medies used the disease attacked one eg and below
the knee suppurated. Her Physician advised it should
be laid open, which was done, but without any perma
nent benefit. In this situation we heard of, and were
induced to use Sands’ Sarsaparilla. The first bottle
produced a decided and favorab e effect, relieving her
more than any prescription she had ever taken, and be
fore she had used six bot'les, to the astonishment and
de ight of ber frends, she found her health quite, re
stored. It is now over a year since the cure was effect
ed, and her health remains go .d, showing the disease
was thoroughly erad cated from the system. Our neigh
bors are ad knowing to these facts, andtlunK veryhiahlv

Extract from a letter received from Mr. n. W. Harris
a gentleman well known in Louisa county, Va.
“ Gentlemen—l have cured a negro boy of mine with
your Sarsaparil a, who was attacked with Scrofula, and
of a scrofulous family.
“Yours truly, N W. HARRIS.
Sands Sarsaparilla.—lt seems almost unnecessary
to direct atieution to an article so wel known, and so
deservedly popular, as this preparation, but patients of
ten who wish lo use the extract of Sarsaparilla are in
duced to try worthless compounds bearing the name,
but containing little or none of the virtue ■ f this valua
ble root; and wethmk we cannot confer a greater bei e
fit on our readers than in directing their atten ion to
the advertisement of the Messrs. Sanus in another co
lumn. The bottle has recently been enlarged to hold a
quart, and those who wish a r ally good article will find
concentrated in this all the medicinal value of tl e root.
1 he experience ot thousands has proved its efficacy in
curing the various diseases for which it is recommend
ed ; and at the present time more than any other, per
haps, is this medicine useful, in preparing the system
for a change of season —Home Journal, Sent , JB4*.
