RHEUMATISM
OF ALL KIN DS can be cured by the use
of MARSHALL S MAGICAL PAIN ERAD
-ICATOR.
This Is unquestionably the very best remedy that
has ever been offered to the afflicted. Every day
evidence is produced of some good it has do; e,
and .if it be in the powet of medicine to c :re Rheu
matisu , and the other diseases named, “ MAR
SHALL'S ERADICATOR” w.ll certainly do it.
The public need tear no humi uggery in this pre
para ion, as the money in all cases will be refund
ed, if proof can be shown of its failure.
k TO THOSE SUFFERING FROM CORNS.
This preparation is i; valuable, and permission
id given to tefer to several Ladies and Gentlemen,
whose names can be given on application. Among
the many certificates and letters received from
persons who have given this remedy a fair and
impartial trial, one is Selected, sirnp’y because
the writer is well known to almost every body in
this county, and the several adjoining counties, as
a gentleman of probity, candor and honor, and
without further remark, will copy verbatim.
Elmore, Burke Countt, Dec. 22,18c0.
Mr. J. E Marshall, —Dear Sir: In compli
ance wth your request, I make this simple state
ment of facts. My boy Daniel stuck a thorn in
his foot about the first of last June, the th >rn was
extracted, and no more thought of it lor 15 or 20
days, his foot then began to swell, and in a tew
days it was opened, it discharged a large quanti
ty of matter. The discharge continued for eight
days, and then ceased His foot then re-com
menced swelling and extended up his leg, thigh,
and hip, with violent pain. He then began to spit
from his lungs matter similar to that discharged
from the abscess on his foot. 1 then called in me
dical aid. and from the remedies used, he was al
ternately better and worse for eight or ten weeks.
During this time a large abscess formed upon the
hip, the discharge was large, and as soon as it
ceased, a general swelling ot his leg, thigh an i
breast commenced, which was very hard to the
touch, and at limes expeiienced much difficulty
in stVallowing. Medical aid seemed of no further
avail, and was discontinued. I then had recourse
to your “Magical Pain Eradicator.” In forty
eight hours, from the time I commenced its use,
liis foot began to solten ; the swelling on his hip
and breast subsided and lam pleased to say he is
now well.
I again used your remedy in a case of Nuetal
gia, with great success, giving lr media*e relief.
5 have tried it also for Tooth-Ache, with my
youngest child, with entire success.
From the success I have had in the use of your
“ Magical Pain Lradicator,” I have no hesitation
in recommending it to the public.
Yours truly, W. W. HUGHES.
The above statements of the use of “Maishall’s
Magical Pain Eradicator” are kuown by me to be
true

NORTH AMERICAN
ELECTRIC WASHING FLUID,
For washing in hard or soft water.
THIS is the only genuine article to be found
in the world ; and possesses double the- pow
er of any .hing ever discovered tor washing
clothes, at a trifling expen. e, doing away with
wash boards at once In fact, it seems to be the
long sought Phi osopher’s Stone, or universal sol
vent ; seeming a magical preparation, its opera
tion being of the most astonishing character. A
common sized washing may be done with one gil
of this Flu d, in hss than two hours. It soften.-
and removes the dirt, leaving the articles of the
mos f brilliant whiteness. It being as harmless in
its operations as pure water, and c'othing will
wear mueh longer than when t übbed to pieces by
the common method of washing.
This Fluid is a powerful agent, to be used in all
cases wheie soap is required, particular'y for
cleansing milk utensils, cleaning windows and
paint, scouring floors ; in short, it is beyond a pre
cedent, as iis use is universal in the washing world.

NOTHING BETTER.
IT seldom happens that any remedy is better
tested, or so credibly vouched lor as Dr.
Little’s Vermifuge. The testimony ot a distinguish
ed physician of an adjoining county is append' d,
as well as others, out of the many that might be
published.
Monroe County, Nov., 1848.
Dr. Little—Sir: I have had much experi
ence with yonr Vermifuge ; and as you wish my
opinion, I will cheerfully state that I have very
rarely found it necessary to use ai y thing else to
relieve children from worms in my practice. In
dozens of cases I l ave tally tested the medicine
with entire success, and unhesitatingly declare i
is the best preparation I ever knew, and far in ad
vance of anything of the kind offered. By its fre
quent use in families, doubtless many bau, if not
fatal cases of worms might be prevented.
(Signed) D. B. Searcy, M. D.
Macon, October, 1848.
Dr. Little—Sir : Your V ermifuge medicine,
by the advice of Dr, Gorman, has been used with
a happy result in my family, without the least un.
pleasant effects, or any other medicine; it was
given to a very sick chi d, who discharged a quan
tity of worms aud was immediately relieved.
Yours, truly,
(Signed) George W. Seymore.
Dr. Little— Sir: I have used several vials of
your Vermifuge in my family, and believe it su
perior to Fahnestock’s, or anything I have ever
seen. In f-»ct, with the use oi this medicine, and
your Anodyne Cough Drops, in cases ot coughs
and colds, I have succeeded in curing two or three
cases that I otherwise would have had o call in a
physician to. Respectfully, &c.,
(Signed) Simeon Castleberry.
Talbot County.
In Macon alone, there has been hundreds of vi
als of Little’s Vermifuge sold within the last few
months, besides that put up in dollar bottles, which
are one-third cheaper. Wherever this medicine
has been introduced, it has gone well; and in point
of success stands unrival ed. Already m any fami
lies have become intelligent upon this subject,
and ii the community was generally so, no more
children would be choked to death by worms or
other fatal effects to be deplored from such causes.
The Veimifu .e is-the very best medicine that
can be given—to puny or drooping children, even
it they had no worms.

ANOTHER CURE OF SCROFULA.
The following striking and, as will be seen, perma
nent cure of an inveterate case of Scrofula, commends
itself to all similarly afflicted.
.. „ ’ Southport, Conn., Jan. 1,1849.
Messrs. Sands : Gentlemen—Sympathy for the at
dieted induces me to inform you of the remarkable cut*
effected by your Sarsaparilla in the case of my wife
She was sex erely afflicted with the Scmfula on diflei
ent parts of the body ; the glands ot the neck were
greatly enlarged and her limbs much swollen. After
suffering over a year, and finding no relief from the m
medies used the disease attacked one ieg, and beh.w
the knee suppurated. Her Physician advised it shcmld
be laid open, which was done, but without any perma
nent benefit. In this situaimn we heard of, and we?,
induced to use Sands’ Sarsaparilla. The first tSSI
produced a decided and favorab e effect, relieving he?
more than any prescription she had ever taken, aifd be
fore she had used six bottles, to the astonishment
de lght of ber friends, she found her health quite re
stored. It is now over a year since the cure was effect
ed, and her health remains good, showing the disenae
was thoroughly eradicated from the system. Our Obigh
