this count**y since the days of Fanny Ellsler, will
appear in several of their beautiful Dances.

The seats will be numbered, and lists left with
Mr. Girardev, at the Hall, where subscribers
can secure seats for the 4 nights, which will con
stitute the season.

SINGING FORTHE MILLION.
Mr. Shrival, of the Royal Academy ot
Music, London, &c., begs to inform the Ladies
and Gentlemen of Augusta, that he intends giving
a course of INSTRUCTION IN VOCAL MUSIC.
It having been suggested to him that Classes
would give every one an opportunity of acquiring
that beautiful science with less fatigue than in
the ordinary way, he will be prepared to com
mence his first quarter in the course of two
weeks.

COTTON.—There has been more cotton of
fered to-day, but buyers show lit*le deposition to
operate unless at a decline, to which holders were
unwilling to submit. The sales reach about 200
bales at yesterday’s rates.
SAVANNAH, April 2.— Cotton. —Tin sales
yesterday amounted to 682 bales; prices as fol
lows 17 at 9; 27 at 9£; 2?2 at 10; 43 at 10Jj 258
at
at li£ cents. The advance of sc. noticed the day
prev.ous was fully sustained, and in some instapees
a further advance was obtained. The market
closed firm—prices in favor of holders.

the tales principally have ranged from 7 to 10
Cents.
Bacon. —There is a great supply in market, and
it may be quoted, wholesale, at ll£ cents, hog
round.

poraneous preparation of BUCHU, retaining
its full medicinal properties, the propriety of hav
ing a reliable preparation of it in a convenient
and palatable form, at once suggests itself to the

This article is no nostrum, but simply a concen
trated fluid extract of Diosma, Paraira and Uva
Ursi, carefully prepared from the best materials,
and has been successfully used by several of the
most eminent Physicians of Augusta and vicinity,
in Chronic diseases of the Genito-urinary apparatus,

A REMARKABLE CASE.
WHEN a medicine proves so valuable as Dr.
Little’s Vermiluge, it should be known to
the whole country. To a little negro child 19
months old, that had been sickly for nearly a year,
1 gave three teaspoonfuis of this medicine, ac
cording to directions, in one day, and by the next
morning one hundred and ninety two large worms
were discharged. It commenced mending at once
and was soon restored. I have given this Vermi
fuge in several other instances with the happiest
effect.
In my neighborhood, where there is much of it
used, 1 hear it spoken of by all in the highest
terms, indeed, as never before having been equal
