In fact, it seems to be the long sought Phi osopher’s Stone, or universal sol vent ; seeming a magical preparation, its opera tion being of the most astonishing character. A common sized washing may be done with one gill of this Fluid, in less than two hours. It softens and removes the dirt, leaving the articles of the most brilliant whiteness. It being as harmless in its operations as pure water, and clothing will wear mueh longer than when tubbed to pieces by the common method of washing. This Fluid is a powerful agent, to be used in all cases where soap is required, particular'y for cleansing milk utensils, cleaning windows and paint, scouring floors 3 in short, it is beyond a pre cedent, as its use is universal in the washing world. BARRYS TRICOPHE _ ROUS, I N 9® medicated compound. ivr alliblL lor renewing, invigorating and beautilying the HAIR, removing the scurf, dandruff, anil all affections of the scalp, and curing eruptions on the skin, aisea.-es of the glands, mus cles and integuments, and relieving stings, cuts, bruises, sprains. &c. With this preparation ‘‘there is no such word as fail.” The first journals in America, medical men of the highest eminence, cßiZ ® ns °f *ll professions, and ladies who have used it for years in their dressing rooms and nurseries, admit with one accord, that for im parting vigr , gloss, luxuriance and curl to the hair eradicating scurf and dandruff, healing wounds, ‘•uring contusions, sprains, stings, &c., and relieving diseases of the skin, the glands and the m iscles,ii: has no equal among the multitude of compounds advertised in the public prints, or use • in private practice. Jn cheapness as we las efficacy, Barry’s Tricopherous is unrivalleu. The immense cash sales of the article have enabled the inventor to supply it at retail, at 25 cents per bottle, which is from 50 to 100 per cent less than the pr.ee of any other preparation for the hair now m use. Ihe scien ific treatLe on the hair and the skin, (embracing valuable dilections lor the cul ture and preservation of Nature’s choicest orna ment,) in which each bottle is enclosed, is alone worth the money. 7 he affinity between the membranes which con stitute the skin, and the hair which draws its sus enance from this triple envelope is very close.— All diseases of the hair originate in the skin of the head. It the pores of the sea p are clogged, or if the blood and other fluids do not circulate freely t hrough the smau . essels which feed the root with moisture, and impart to the fibres, the result is scurf, dandruff, shedding of the hair, graveness, dryness and harshness of the ligaments, and entire baldness, as the case may be. Stimulate the skin to healthful action with the Tricopl.erous, and the toipid vessels, recovering their activity, will anni hilate the disease. In ail affections of the skin, and of the substiata of muscles and integuments, the process and the effect are the same. It is upon the skin, the muscular fibre, and the glands, that the Tricopherous has its specific action, and m all affections and injury of these organs, it is a sovereign remedy. For the removal and permanent cure of all diseases arising from an IMPURE STATE OF THE BLOOD, OR HABIT OF THE SYSTEM. AMONG the many and important discoveries of this _ eneration, is one whose fame will be written, as with a sunbeam, in the history of the past. SANDS’ SARSAPARILLA stands forth alone, and by its own works proclaims its power—that mute eloquence so irresistibly affect ing in the appeals of the suffering for relief, has been answered. Thousands of cases of disease have been cured by this invaluable medicine, su :h as are not furnished in the records of time. These things are not done in secret places, or in some unknown town, but are performed iu our princi pal cities and public places. They are brought before the world 10 substantiate, beyond doubt, the healing virtues of this preparation ; and the facts unfV-lded, although gigantic, are as plain as the light of day. The Saisaparilla is combined with the most ef fectual aids, the most saiutary productions, the most potent simples of the vegetable kingdom ; and its unprecedented success in the restoration to health of those who had long pined under the most distressing chronic maladies, has given it an exalted character—furnishing, as it does, evidence of its own intrinsic value, and recommending it to the afflicted in terms the afflicted only can know. It has long been a most important desideratum in the practice of medicine, to obtain a remedy sim ilar to this —one that would act on the liver, stom ach, and bowels with all the precision vnd potency of mineral preparations, yet without any of their deleterious effects upon the vital powers of the system Although po-sessed of powerful healing properties, it is entirely harmless, and will not in jure the most delicate constitution. When in per fect health, no effect is produced by its use, ex cept an increase of appetite ; but when disease is seated in the frame, and carrying fast its victim along the path of life, then its mysterious influ ence is felt and seen; it enkindles new life and vigor, and brings health and strength to the suffer ing and diseased. SCROFULOUS AFFECTION OF THE EYES. Winchester, Ky., Oct. 29, 1849. A. B. & D. Sands — Gentlemen: I would not have presumed to write to you, if it was not my duty to let the public know the almost miraclous effect your Sarsaparilla has had upou me. My limbs were covered with ulcerous sores, so that I could not walk during the whole spring sum mer. In this situation I commenced the use of your Sarsaparilla, and after taking two bottles was entirely cured. I must al o tell you of another wonderful cure. My brother was afflicted with this scrofula in his head, so had his physician told him the loss of his sight was inevitable, and perm anent blindness seemed to be his fata. Three bot tles entirely restored his sight, aod we cannot but recommend all similarly afflicted to use Sands’ Sarsaparilla. Yours truly. BENJAMIN F. BUCKNER. ITS POULARITY ABROAD. From South America.
