HTBLISS’s COMPOUNDCOD LIVER
OIL CANDY.—Probably no one siugle article in
the materia medicn has ever conferred so many
blessings on mankind as has Cod Liver Oil. But
all persons cannot use the Oil, on accon.it of its
disgusting fltvo.-. This fact induced Mr. Bliss,
an experienced apothecary, of Springfield, Mass.,
to compound a candy which should retain all the
virtues of the oil, and be free from its offensive
taste and odor. This candy is one of the very
best remedies for all pulmonary complaints ; but it
basits counterfeits, which must be shunned by the
purchaser. Ca.l for Bass’s Candy and receive no

Such a medicine as this compound should be
widely known, and had I the gift of tongues and

praises in the streets and on the house tops—as it
is, I speak fearlessly to ail and every one. My
case was indeed a painful one, and 1 did despair
of ever getting cured, having tried physicians and
nostrums till 1 have gotten aimost impoverished.
Rheumati.-m in my back is w hat I labored un er,
but thank God, by the application of your Pain
Eradicator, I have got entirely well, and perfectly

fifteen miles from the Cumberland mountain, on
tne elevated tnble lands formed by its Northern
oench, it possesses an atmosphere of great sam

stone, chalybeate, white and black sulphur springs,
which must make i a place of great resort lor in*

WONDER OF THE AGE.
NORTH AMERICAN
ELECTRIC WASHING- FLUID,
For washing in hard or soft water.
THIS is the only genuine article to be found
iu the world ; and possesses double the pow
er of any thing ever discovered for washing
clothes, at a trifling expense, doing away with
wash boards at once. In fact, it seems to "be the
long sought Phi osopher’s Stone, or universal sol
vent ; seeming a magical preparation, us opera
tion being of the most astonishing character. A
common sized wasting may be done with one gill
of this Flu d, in less than two hours. It softens
and removes the dirt, leaving the articles of the
most brilliant whiteness. It being as harmless iu
its operations as pure water, and clothing will
wear mueh longer than when t übbed to pieces by
the common method of washing.
This Fluid is a powerful agent, to be used in all
cases wheie soap is required, particular'y for
cleansing milk utensils, cleaning windows and
paint, scouring floors; in short, it is beyond a pre
cedent, as its use is universal in the washing world.
