O-BLls.S’s compound cod liver
OIL CANDY".—If you would avoid, reader, fal
ling by Consumption, you must take a Cold in due
«eason, and make use of snsh a remedy as has
ibeen proved in a thousand cases preceding your
©wn. Such a remedy, we unhesitantingiy assert,
is to be found in Bliss’s Compound Cod Liver Oil
Candy. A common Cold will yield to its benign
influences in a few hours, and an obstinate Cough
gives way in a phort time, if due care is observed
while the medicine is in use. Unlike the Cod Li
ver Oil, it is one of the most agreeable medicines
iu the world. When you purchase, look out for
counterfeits.

MARSHALL’S MAGICAL PAIN
ERADICATOR.
Dalton, March 15, 1851.
W. 1-1. & J. Turpin —Gentlemen.—l
hope yott will excuse the intrusion of these lew
lines as lam not personally acquainted with you,
and besides am an entire stranger in your city
1 am constrained, however, to trespass on your
kind indulgence, and say something in behalf of
“ Marshall’s Magical Fain Eradicator.”
Such a medicine as Jbis compound- should be
widely known, and had i the gift of tongues and
the power, I would not hesitate to proclaim its
praises in the streets and on the house tops—as it
is, I speak fearlessly to all and every one. My
case was indeed a painful one, and 1 did despair
of ever getting cured, having tried physicians and
nostrums till 1 have gotten almost impoverished.
Rheumatism in my back is what I labored under,
t)Ht thank God, by the application of your Pain
.Eradicator, I have got entirely well, and perfectly
; ibleto attend to my usual duties. If this public
.acknowledgement is of any service to you in ex
ten&a:£ the reputation and value of thii prepara
tiou you .are liberty to use it as you may. Hoping
you all the success ic richly deserves, I remain
most respectfully vours. THOS. DUNN.
Such letters and verba! assurances, we are re
ceiving constantly. The originals can seen by
those who are desirous, at the store of the Pro
prietor-.

PROFIT BY EXPERIENCE:
AUGUST, 1849.
DR. LITTLE —Dear Sir: After having used
several Vermifuge medicines, and even Cal
omel, without success in relieving our child of
worms, we then gave your Vermifuge according
to directions, which soon caused the expulsion of
a large quantity of wprms. After that, the child
got well immediately.
(Signed) E. Ezell, of Houston co.
Wften a child is loaded with worms, or pros
trated with their effects, it is not always safe, by
any means, to give Calomel, because it excites
too much action, and together with the displace
ment of the worms, will often sink a child before
much else can be done for it. On the other hand,
Little’s Vermifuge is perfectly sat'#, and produces
no such excitement, is much more destructive to
worms, and at the same time gradually expels
them.
The sac simile of the signature of Dr.W. G.
Little will be found upon the outside wrapper of
each of his medicines.
