Takirq StEjps in Traxuiit Fashion (
two dayg past, two females have distinguish* j
ed themselves in Broadway, as pioneers in the j
revolution of petticoats. On Friday after
noon, between three and five o’clock, they
promenaded Broadway in the new costume of
which so much has been said recently. The
skirts of the?e ladies, whose countenances
were of a pale and intellectual cast, hung as
low as the knees, and trousers, in the Turk
ish style, served to conceal nearly all the calf,
while the boots, heels in and toes out, were a
little worn for wear, and exhibited a very
broad platform of their constitutions, general- j
ly. Other ladies on the promenade stared at !
these revolutionists, and the boys applied
their thumbs to their noses, and burtt out in
to loud guffaws, while grave men smiled, and
young misses tittered with laughter. Certain
ly, these specimens might be improved, if the
ladies who have undertaken the present re
form will toe the mark with a handsome foot
and new elegant boots. — N. Y. Herald .

ID* Sign FREDERICO POPILETTO returns
his profound thanks from his heart of hearts, for
the enthusiastic reception accorded to him by the
brilliant and overflowing house of Thursday eve

To the amateurs who volunteered their a d with
their horns and hormonicans, he wishes better
skill and more success next time in p'easmg. To
the gentleman afflicted with a severe cold, he
tenders his sympathy, and hopes he will not blow

DR. LITTLE —Dear Sir: After having used
several Vermifuge medicines, and even Cal
omel, without success in relieving our child of
worms, we then gave your Vermifuge according
to directions, which soon caused the expulsion of
a large quantity of worms. After that, the child
got well immediately.
(Signed) E. Ezell, of Houston co.
VVuen a child is loaded wiih wo* ms, or pris
trated with tneir effects, it is not always safe, by
any nr cans, to give Calomel, because it excites
too much action, and together with the displace
ment of the worms, wih olteu sink a child before
much else can be done for it. On the other band,
Little’s Vermifuge is perfectly safe, and produces
no such excitement, is much more destructive to
worms, and at the same time gradually expels
them.
The sac simile of the signature of Dt.W. G. I
Little will be found upon the outside wrapper of
each of his medicines, ’
