Rowand & Walton, 373 Market street, Philadelphia, consider his case the most remarkable one we have ever witnessed or heard of. His disease was Scrofula, and terrible mustliave been his twelve years’ conflict with the destroyer! II is Palate, the entire roof of his Mouth,Nose,Upper Lip, and lower lid of the Eye have been destroy ed, his Face nearly eaten up, and part of the Jaw Bone carried away. And yet we can give no de scription of his case. Mr. B. informs us that in January last, the whole interior of his mouth, as well a i most of his face was a mass of deep and painful alcers. On the 14th of January last, he commenced ta lcing Dr. Cullen’s Indian Vegetable Panacea, whic h checked the disease in a few days, and from that time the cure has progressed without intermission. New flesh has supplied the place of the deep ul cers, and though badly disfigured, his face is sound and his general health is restored. We are assured thatm the treatment of Mr. Brooks’case no Mercurials, Ointments, or Caustic applications have been used, —in fact, the Panacea «ione, has wrought this wonderful change. Phillip S. So wiie is the field of its usefulness, and so numerous the cases ol its cures, that almost every section of the country abounds in persons, publicly known, who have been re stored from alarming and even desperate diseases of the lungs by its use. When once tried, its su periority over every osher medicine of its kind, is too apparent to escape observation, and where its virtues are known, the public no longer hesitate • what antidote to employ for the distressihg and dangerous affections of the pulmonary organs, which are incident to our climate. And not only the formidable attacks upon the lungs, but for the milder varieties of Colds, Coughs, Hoarseness, and for children it is the pleasantest anJ a.est medicine that can be obtained.
