It has been ascertained bv experiment that Barry’s Tricophe . rous has produced the same effect in curing diseases of •~® p, l ?’ c '> il le horse and all the animal kingdom. Ihe following testimonials, selected from hundreds of similar import, will serve to show the value of the pre paration, and the estimation in which it is held bv those who have given it a trial: _ _ New York, Sept. 22,1850. 1 Prof. Barry,—Dear Sir:—l have been afflicted with a cutaneous eruption of the scalp, of a most aggravated character, for the last sixteen years, and during that pe , riod hai e had the advice of some of the most eminent physicians, and have tried all the preparations for the ; hair and skin now known, without the least benefit. I was adi lsed by a friend to try your Tricopherous. I did so, as a last resart, and, to my surprise and gratifica tion, found myself cured in about two months. Such was the violence of the disorder that at times I was par tially blind. Respectfully yours, G. V. M. RAPELYE,I4O Columbia Street, Brooklyn. ! _ _ New Yokk, Oct. 23.1850. L ROF. Barry, My Dear Sir: —About two years ago my hair came out a great deal, and my head was much affected with dandruff. I was told by a friend to try . > our Iricoplierous, and I did so, and to my astonish . men! my hair was firmly rooted, and all the dandruff , disappeared, as the head now shows itself. With respect. . lam your ob’t serv’t, J- S. TREADWELL, 683 Broadway. If any lady or gentleman doubts the authenticity of • the above, they will please call at Professor A. C. Barry’s Office, No. 137 Broadway, New York, where he will pro " duce the original letters. [From the Military and Naval Argus, Nov. 9,1850.] There is no remedy for the permanent cure of bald ness and diseases of the cranium generally, that has reached the popularity enjoyed by the article known as ’ Professor Barry’s Tricopherous, or Medicated Com pound. It is extensively used by- the upper classes of the community ; in almost every nursery in the land it is used in preference to other articles of the kind. It imparts vigor to the roots of the hair, and thus pro motes its growth to a remarkable degree. It destroys the dandruff and scurf, and yields the hair fine and glos sy. It will cure all diseases of the scalp, such as scald head, dew worm, and other obnoxious disorders of the skin: in cheapness as well as efficacy, it stands unrival led. It is sold in large bottles, price 25 cents, at No. 137 Broadway, and at the Druggists generally throughout tho United States and Canada. june 19-d&c NEW AND FASHIONABLE GOODS. ° s ’ w - °- FRICE & CO ] HATS. : AXi) ’ Tailoring Furnishing CAPS* i Defend’ EST ABLISH M ENT, ! coTts wholesal “ aowi Should®? 58 ’ Comfortables | dealers is BRACES , and Sack j „, Money Belts, ' COATS i CLOTHING, Toilet Cases, : BROAl)-STREET,CMh, SllES ’ coats, j Augusta, Ga., t l “'t 11 an ' 1 of all descrip- INVITE lootn, +ion« Futnisuing Plain & Fancy THE ATTESTION or TIIEIR GOODS, P A?J’ S I CUSTOMERS, j 0f S cripthm de ' V T 7 is' T S' AND GLOVES, v irrpTjTa * ’ STRANGERS, STOCKS. OR THE REMOVAL AND PERMANENT CURE OP ALL DIS EASES ARISING FROM AN IMPURE STATE OF THE BLOOD. OR HABIT OF THE SYSTEM. AMONG the many and important discoveries of this generation, is one whose fame will be written, as with a sunbeam, in the history of the past. SANDS’ SARSAPARILLA stands forth alone, and by its own works proclaims its power—that mute eloquence so ir- J resistibly effecting in the appeals of the suffering for re lief. has been answered. Thousands of cases of disease have been cured by this invaluable medicine, such as aro not furnished in the record of time. These things are not done in secret places, or in some unknown town, but are performed in our principal cities and public pla ces. They are brought before the world to substantiate, beyond doubt, the healing virtues of this preparation; and the facts unfolded, although gigantic, >are as plain as the light of day. The Sarsaparilla is combined with the most effectual aids, the most salutary productions, the most potent simples of the vegetable kingdom; and its unprecedent ed success in the restoration to health of those who had long pined under the most distressing chronic ma ladies, has given it an exalted character—fur C hm.?-._% it does, evidence of its own ei'-iiding i! t<> 1 1 1 • • (dieted in terms ran know, ll has long been a most inn>or jW tim iii the practice of medicine, to obtain a remedyd[B^|=|s ilar to this—one that would act on the liver, stor, , and bowels with all the precision and potency of preparations, yet without any of their deleterious sects upon the vital powers of the system. Although possessed of powerful healing properties, it is entirely liarmless, and will not injure the most delicate consti tution. My limbs were covered with ul cerous sores, so that I could not walk during the whole spring and summer. In this situation I commenced the use of your Sarsaprilla, and after taking two bottles was entirely cured. I must also tell you of another won derful cure. My brother was afflicted with this scrofula in his head, so bad his physician told him the loss of his sight was inevitable, and permanent blindness seemed" to be his fate. Three bottles entirely restored his sight and we cannot but recommend all similarly afflicted to* use Sands’ Sarsaparilla, Yours truly, BENJAMIN F. BUCKNER. ITS POPULARITY ABROAD. From South America.
