in this article since our last report, has Beer, of little

trade ; the sales, however, indicate that oiu quoted pri
ces are fully sustained ; 3 a 400 hags Porto (, abeilo were
taken in the early part of the week at 13,\ a 127 c., and
a lot of Lagoira 121 c.; 200 bags Rio 12.7 c, and 100 do
do 12jc.: 209 do do St. Domingo 1H; 100 do Java
13c., and 400 do do common 11,7 per lb. 6 mo.; 100
bags Havana by auction lltj a 11 (c. 6 mo; 200 do Java
offered, 25 sold, 11 ■ 4 mo. residue withdrawn.
Cotton. —There has been no occurrence to change
the general features of the market, as reported in our
last publication. Uplands have been sold at 11 ia 12 for
good, and some inform. 197,-., New Orleans 12; a 13Je,;
at these rates, about 700 bales have been taken from
first hands.
