COTTON. —Wc have experienced another dull
week in our Cotton maiket, and the transactions
have been so limited, that they are scarcely wor
thy of notice. The sales from warehouses, as far
ns they have come to our knowledge, amount to
I only four hundred ami twenty-seven hales, in small
I parcels, as follows : 6 hales at 64, 17 at 8, 41 at 84,
That SI, 136 at 9, 82 at 94,27 at 9i, 1 hale Nankeen
at 11, and 31 hales do. at Hi cents. We quote as
the extremes 64 a9i cents. The receipts continue
light for the season. Y esterday vve received ad
vices from Liverpool, via New York, to the 20th
February, which being considered rather favorable
[than otherwise, caused some little enquiry in our
[market, but no transactions of any magnitude came

Flour, Howard Street.— Wc note a slight decline

j $7,50, and we quote it accordingly. In the early
" part of the week holders asked 83 from stores, and
■ j 'he same price is asked to-day, but within a day or
, so sales have been made at §7,874, and one lot at
; | a fraction less than this hist named rate.
< ity Mills Flour. —The sales of the week, gen
r | orally for foreign export, amount to upwards of
■ I 2000 barrels—in one instance, early in the week,
lat $3, lull, but in all the rest at $7,75, full, Sales

Corn. —U util within about ten days past, the de
-1 mand was almost exclusively for white corn, for
i the Southern markets, and prices of White were
1 from 10 to 15 cents a bushel higher than those of
J ellovv.—Since then, however, a change has been
s going on in the market, and while the demand for
White for the South has nearly ceased, that fur
Yellow for the Eastern cities lias improved. White
lias accordingly fallen off in value, and Yellow ad
vanced, and to-day sales of White have been
made at GO a 62 cents, and Yellow at G 5 a 60 cents.
