ing the three business days which succeeded the
date of our last weekly report, and there was
► ome further improvement obtained in tiie sales of
I'hursday and Saturday, on the quotations which

terday and to-day, however, the demand has been
more limited, and we are informed, lhatii would
be diificult to make e.\:en ! -ive sales, unless at some

demanding the rate* of Saturday last. Jn some of

day exceed 6000 bale*. Prices stiffened up dur
ing the day, and middling Cottons were sold at 9i
