as any that 1 have ever had from the steam press id '
the same size; and it is my opinion that your press
can reduce eotlOnbales into ns small a compass as
any steam press, us I was convinced from the trial
made with the cotton hale above referred to. 1
was one of the Unco individuals that compressed
said bale.
Toall Planters in wartt of presses, who make large
crops of cotton, which they arc in the habit of
shipping to Europe, coast w ise, I would unhesita
tingly recommend tho adoption of this press, as it
would enable them to have llieir cotton carried at
less rates of freight, and the compression can he
done by tlicirown plantations while ginning.
