four years with severe pains in all his joints, which
were always increased on the slightest motion, llit
tongue preserved a steady whiteness; loss of appe
tite, dizziness in Ins head, the bowels commonly
very costive, the urin high colored, and often pro
fuse sivealing, unattended by relief. The above
symptoms were also attended vvitli considerable dif
ficulty of breathing, vvitii a sense ol tightness across
