O. COSBY’S DYSPEPTIC BITTERS.
PERHAPS there is nothing more calculated to
disgust the public eye Ilian the innumerable
advertisements of nostrums that are constantly ap
pearing in the public prints. All arc ready to ex
claim, our souls arc sick, our ears are pained with
every day’s reports of ills and specifics. ’1 bis state
of the public mind would seem to forbid any person
of delicate mind trom sending lonli any new dis
coveries in medicine to the tr.nl of the public ; still
motives of dolicoey should not prevent us from
making known any real discoveries, which wo are
confident will benefit our fellow-men. ibis latter
consideration has prompted the authoi of these
Bitters to make them known. lie knows they are
highly efficacious, for lie himself, lus wife and many
friends have given them a thorough trial. He was
himself a confirmed dyspeptic, so much that even
his recollection was gone By using these Billers
he has been restored to health. Mrs. Cosby was
troubled for many years, but was restored to health
by the use of these Kilters. 1 lus has been the case
with many ol his friends.
L Mr Cosby, in sending forth this advertisement,
addresses those who know him. He was for many
years a resident of Augusta, and is now a resident
of Hamburgh, where lie may at any time bo con
sulted about the Bitters. They are good in all
cases of diseases ot the digestive organs, the symp
toms of which arc, Indigestion, Pain or Oppression
in the Stomach from food, loss of Appetite, I' latu
lency Heart Burn, Pam and Giddiness m Iho Head,
Pain in the Side, Shortness of Breath, Lassitude,
r general Weakness, Disturbed Sleep, Ac.
1 6 The composition is entirely botanical, and has
Droved efficacious when many celebrated medicines
had failed. In support of which he gives the follow -
,„g certificate, and might give many others ;
“Having been afflicted with dyspepsia for seve
ral vears, and having used many celebrated medi
cines without receiving any oeneflt, I purchased a
bottle of O. Coshy’s Dyspeptic Bitters, and have
been restored to perfect MORR j S -
