many valuable elementary works and essays upon f

His object will he to convey a thorough and prac- J
tical knowledge of the study; not a superficial ‘
acquaintance w ith the theory of the subject, which
will eventuate merely in the execution of a few ]
p/etty things. His design will he lo make his pupils
Artists* which he hopes, with applic ntion on their
part, to accomplish. He will exert himself to please
the levels of the arts who hopor him with their I
patronage, and he doubts not, that mam/ in this i
city, will eagerly devote a liule time to t lie attain- j
meat of a knowledge of so enchanting an art. ,
A term consists of tvo months instruction—the
first course commencing on Thursday, 25th inst.,
before which lime it is desirable that pupils should j
enter their names.
