Dr. Peters —Dear Sir, —lly request of your agent,
Mr. Harrison, I send you a few lines respecting the
almost miraculous effects of your pil's; and I would
a*d, that you may make use ol them, in connection
with my name, in any manner you deem [ roper, I
speak of their merits from experience,as 1 and my
family have taken upwards of thirty boxes in three
years; and so great are the benefits we have receiv
ed from them in general, that 1 would rather pur
chase them at ten dollars a box than have my house
without them. 1 will not enumerate the alllictions
they have relieved us of; but 1 can assure you they
were many, and of very opposite natures, which
has fully proved to me that your medicine is a sim
ple purifier of the system, and therefore equally
the enemy of every disease. J will mention one
1 case. I have a sister who had been for a long pe
riod severely afflicted with dropsy in the chest and
was brought by il to ilieveiy verge of the grate.
She was attended by I lie most eminent physicians
(hat money could picture; but all their efforts to

in loduccd inio my family, and so speedy and pal
pable were topic effects that three doses visibly rc-
I lievod her, and in le-'s than ilicec months she was
I perfectly restored to health. This case, I and all
I who were witness of il, (but more especially the
suffering parly,) considered to he the next thing to
I miraculous; and yet I could mention many more
of an equally desperate nature, in which your pills
were equn Jy successful in rescuing the patients
from the jaws of death. Need 1 add that the popu
