Dr. Marchisi— Dear Sir—ln the month of December, 1824, being at St. Anvils, province of Upper Canada,! caught a cold which soon settled into a fever ; at the same lime 1 had a most distressing cough, and a very se vere pain in my left side. I applied to several emi nent Physicians in Lewistown, Niagara co. who treated mo fur the Liver Complaint—but without success. I grow worse every day, and J thought 1 should soon ho called to appear before the great *'l AM.” In the month of March, 1825,1 applied to skilful Physicians in Oneida county, who treated me also for the Liver Complaint, without any essential ben efit I wehl afterwards to New York, in hopes that change of climate and diet and new scenes might possibly restore mo to health; and indeed a stay of a lew months there enabled me to renew my trade. I was not cured, however, (or from Uie time I was sick, until very lately, I was often distressed by a pain in my leftside, want of nppelito, indigestion, and a general depression of spirits. Last October J was induced to take “Dr. Roberts's Welch Medica mentum,” prepared by yourself, ami I feel grateful that I am able to state that after having used one pint sml a half, the pain in ray side has entirely subsided. I have regained my appetite, and my general health lias been so far restored that 1 have not felt so well as I do now within the'lnst eight years. I conceived it a duty I owe to the public at largo, to make my case generally known. I hope that thousands through tho United Slates, who are now as much afflicted as 1 have boon, will be induced to make atrial of your medicine, convinced that they will find it most beneficial. Yours respectfully, HENRY DAVIS. Utica, May 14th, 1831. Mr. J. M. Marchisi — Sir —This may certify that I have been severely afflicted for five years with the Inflammatory Rheu matism. I applied to some of tho most eminent Physicians in Now York, but received little or no relief. Fortunately, I began using Dr. Roberts's Genuine Welch Medicamentum, prepared by yon, from which I experienced very great and surprising benefit; and I sincerely recommend to every family this important medicine. Your humble servant, A. D. TALLANT. Utica, Jan. Ist, 1831. Dr. Marchisi— Dear Sir—Previous to taking your Medicamen tum, I was very much afflicted with Dyspepsia, loss of appetite, my eyes were very mucli inflamed and had been for more than a year. 1 had tried various remedies without much or any relict; until I com menced using your Medicamentum, from which I received almost immediate relief.
