A'anquoit, Dec. 19, 1831.
Dr. Marchisi—
’ Dear Sir—ln the month of December, 1821, being
h at St. Anvils, province of Upper Canada, I caught a
cold which soon settled into a fever; at the same
time I had a most distressing cough, and a very se
vere pain in my left s : de. 1 applied lo several end
e neni Physicians in Lowistown, Niagara co. who
y ireated me for (ho Liver Complaint—but without
’ success. 1 grow worse every day, and 1 though 1
should soon be called to appear before lilts great ‘1
AM.”
In Ibe month of -March, 1825,1 applied to skilful
Physicians in Oneida county, who treated mo also
n for the Liver Complaint, without any essential ben
efit. I went afterwards loNevv York,in hopes that
d change ol climate and diet and new scenes might
possibly restore me to health; and indeed a.slay of a
lew months there enabled me to renew my trade. I
_ was not cured, however, lor from the time 1 was
* sick, until very lately, 1 was often distressed hy a
1 ; pain in my leftside, want of appetite, indigestion,
’ and a general depression of spirits. Last October J
was induced to lake “Dr. Roberts's Welch Medina
, mention," prepared hy yourself, nnd I feel grateful
1 that lam able to stale that after having used otto pint
sail a half, the pain in my side has entirely subsided.
I have regain*! my appetite, and iriy general health
has been so far restored that I have not feltsb well
as I do now within the last eight years.
I conceded it a duty lowe to the public at largo,
lo make ray case generally known. 1 hope that
d thousands through the United Sidles, who arc now
as much afflicted as 1 have been, will be induced to
T make a trial of your medicine, convinced that they
will find it most beneficial.
Yours respectfully, HENRY DAVIS,
e Utica, May 14th, 1831.
Mr. J. M. Marchisi —
Sir—This may certify that 1 have been severely
s afflicted for five years with the Inflammatory Rhetl
s malistii. 1 applied to some of the most eminent
Physicians in New York, but received little or no
n relief. Fortunately, I began using Dr. Roberts’s
Genuine VS eleh Me.dicamcnlniii, prepared by you,
from which I experienced very great and surprising
h benefit; nnd 1 sincerely recommend to every family
this important medicine. Votir humble servant,
, t A D. TALLANT.
Utica, Jail. Ist, 1331,
y l)f. Marchisi —
Dear Sir—Previous to taking your Medicamon
