BUYS A NEW AUTOMOBILE.
Sheriff J. J. Sharpe has grown
tired of walking thru the sand so
he went to Valdosta last week
bcucht a Ford five passanger
car. It was sent out Saturday
morning and the Sheriff motored
to Valdosta Saturday afternoon
taking H. W. Nelson. Claud
Saunders and Jesse Prescott with

his own automobile and enjoy-

dreamed could be possible before

the cause along to the best of
their ability. From now- on, they
will talk* good roads, dream of

all times, to do their best toward
making good roads an actual fact
in Echols County. .

Ah J. Rice had a well put down
on his place the first of the week
and got a good flow of water at
twenty-three feet. This beats
carrying water from the town
pump. A good well is one of the
finest things a place can have.
