recent improvements in the Coffee
County News, edited by Col. Bryan.

we want, and that’s what we need,
and the way to get it is to pull

lator is spending most of his time
trying to figure out some plan to
make South Georgia continue as

And they will continue to do
that until we elect a South Geor¬
gian for Governor.

tice the drunkeness and cussed¬
ness in town Monday night?
The bridge over Alapaha river,
on Mud Creek road, be completed
this week by contractor Andrew
Turner. The bridge is one of the
longest and most expensive in the
county, being live hundred
long. It will cost about $800,
and being a county line bridge
Clinch county will contribute her
shera toward tbr cost of it.

Be it ordained by the Mayor and
Council of 'the Town of Homer¬
ville in session duly assembled,
and it is hereby ordained by autho¬
rity of the same, That on and alter
the passage at this ordinance, that
all persons in the Town of Homer-
vibe are forbiddea to sweep out
on the street or deposit m the
streets or vacant lots in the town
o- Homerville especialy in the
Business part of said Town, any
trash or decayed matter, But must
keep all refused matter iu Boxes
or Barrels and Burn the same,
And all persons are required to
keep in front and rear of their
Stores and place of business, clean
and in a sanitary condition, Any
one refusing to comply with the
term of this ordinance shall be pun¬
ish ed in the discretion of the Mayor
and in accordance with the prov.
