* Dr. Pennington, of Naylor was in the. city Tuesday Mrs. Howell and Mrs. Young visited Mis. J. B. Cor uelius last. week. Mr. Henry Peagler. of Butler, Ga.,"is spening the week relatives in the city. Mesdames E. S. Henderson and Edwm McGee, of Way cross, visit¬ ed Mrs. A. G. Howell today. A. G. Howell returned home Saturday from Hampton Springs. We are glad to see him much im¬ proved. 3/aster Tiny Culpepper has been suffering from fever for the past few days, we wish for him a speedy recovery. Mrs. D, C. Cormichall of Manor, and Miss Ruth McConnell, of De- funiak Springs, Fla., visited the family of Mr. and Mrs. Howell this week. Mr. Frank Evans, came down Wednesday from Valdosta and will return Saturday in his Brush Car. he stopped in Naylor Thurs¬ day and Friday. Mrs. I, T. McLendon, formerly of this place, is {spending awhile in the city as the guest of Mrs. U. G- Dickson. Her many friends will be glad to see her after so many years. Card of Thanks. Miss Susie Smith returned Wednesday morning after spend ing some time with friends near and at Milltown. Judge Cornelius spent the day Tuesday in Valdosta. W. V. Musgrove spent a while in Jacksonville this week. Leroy Smith left Wednesday morning to spend a short while in Jacksonville- Misses R. Misses Linnie and Viva Har graves are spending awhile with relatives in Valdosta and Jasper. Rev. Arthur More, who is as¬ sisting Rev. McKeller in the meet ing here, spent Saturday in Way- cross. Col W. B. Gibbs left Saturday mornig for Folkston, where he has located to practice. Ben is an all round good lawyer and we wish him much success in his new home. Mr. E. S. Kirkland has been appointed as Marshall for oar city. Mr. T. T. Peagler having resigned the first of the week. We feel safe in saying that Edmund will make us a good officer.
