The concrete grandstand has a seating capacity of 9,000 people, and overlooks every point on tlie course. In fact, to spectators situated anywhere near the race track, the horses are visible during every moment, as the track circles the margin of the lake for its entire course. Aliie Ashbrook, Early Dreams, Hum fast, Lu Princton, Peter Thornhill, Baby Doll, Miss Perfection, Baxter Lou, Babe Cresceus, The Pointer Queen, Don F,, Young Todd, Eleven Black, Barbar Lee and others. They come from the most famous stables in A^nerlca. Horse Show Daily Sharing interest for horse lovers with the Grand Circuit races, wall be the daily horse show exhibits, featured before the grand stand, in which prizes aggregating $2,500 have been offered This big feature of the fair is in I charge of A. C. Congdon, as chairman, and the, entry list is already larger i than last year. The exhibits will in- I elude light harness horses, standard j brt-ds, draft horses, saddle horses, I combination horses, stallions, brood mares, Shetland ponies, and mules. The Percheron Society of America ha;- offered twenty-six silver and bronze trophies and medals as special prizes in the Percheron class. in addition to the daily exhibits, there will be night horse shows which will be among the big social features of the fair. Big Dog Show Feature The largest dog show ever held la the South will be another interesting feature of the fair. The show will be held under the auspices of The At lanta Kennel Club, in a fire-proof building on the fair grounds especially for the dogs. In addition to competition among fine registered dogs of practically ev ery known breed, a spec al local class has been arranged in order to en courage all Georgia breeders and own ers to enter their dogs in the show. This class is arranged to include any dog in Georgia, and your dog does not need to be registered to be shown. If your dog lias no pedigree, the only way it can over be registered is to show it and win. Entries close Oc tober 3rd. Midway And Amusements In addition to the big Midway, which will have the Patterson Car nival Company attractions, the best and most attractive in the amusement world, visitors to the Southeastern Fair will be entertained with a great variety of brilliant free attractions every day and night, including vaude ville shows, spectacular stunts, brass band concerts and elaborate finew-orks. Several of the finest brass bands obtainable will be playing in different parts of the fair ground at all hours and the musical features will be of a nature to appeal to everybody. The free fireworks exhibits this year have been gone into on a very large and elaborate scale, to include nightly immense spectacular set pieces of patriotic and military na ture. These fireworks alone will be well worth the trip to Atlanta to see, though they will be merely one inci dent among the many big features provided for the amusement and en tertainmem of the fair ground crowds.
