It is understood that the young white man Hendrix, who was arrest ed by Deputy Sheriff Pyles and turned over to Sheriff Hrooten of Tatnall county, succeeded in jumping the sheriff at Everett City Wednesday night, while he was being taken to Tatnall on the charge of selling whis key in that county.
