Steamer Hessie leaves at 8:30 a. m. dally. BRUNSWICK £UILY NEWS, PETITION FOR INCORPORATION. STATE OF GEORGIA, GLYNN COUNTY. To the superior court of said county: The petition of B. Carreras, I. L. Schuyler, and Fred Pfeiffer, who aver themselves to be citizens of the United States and of the State of Georgia, and residents of the city of Brunswick, in said State and county, respectfully shows: 1. That petitioners desire to form a corporation under the provisions of section 2350 et seep of the civil code of 1895 of the State of Georgia, to exist for the full end and term of twenty (20) years, with privilege of renewal aeording to law, and the same to be known as the “Salamia Lumber Company.” 2. That, under such corporate name they desire to carry on the business of of buying, selling, handling and for warding lumber of all classes; to buy and sell and advance money on tim ber lands, to purchase, lease, own and operate sawmills, dry kilns and other plants for the manufacture or treat ment of all classes of lumber. 3. To buy and sell naval stores and all other commercial products; to handle the same, on commission as brokers; to advance money and take security therefor on real and personal property, and to do and per form generally each and every char acter of business incident to the pur poses of said incorporation, as herein Set out. 4. The capital stock of the said cor poration shall bo the sum of twenty . live thousand dollars ($25,000), no part of which has yet been paid in, . but before commencing business under a charter granted hereby, petitioners and their associates will comply with the provisions of the law of Georgia with reference to the payment of the j minimum capital thereby required, i Said capital stock shall be deride. 1 |’nto shares of one hundred dollars, and each share of stock shall be en titled to one vote at all corporate meetings of the stockholders. Said capital stock shall be decreased at any time to any sum not less than five thousand dollars or be increased from time to time to a sum not exceeding | one hundrer thousand dollars upon two thirds of the capital stock then cutstanuing voting for such increase or decrease, as the case may be. 5. The officers of said company ; i.ieir tales and powers, duties, sal ; dries and emoluments, shall be estab fished and fixed from time to time by Ike board of directors of said com ' puny, who shall be selected from the stockholders themselves, and which ; board of directors shall consist of not less than three nor more than seven per sons, accordingly as the stockholders shall from time to time fix. •0.
