thorough overhauling. She is being
put in shape to take a party of New
York people on a cruise.
The tug Vigilant is laying up at
Coney & Parker’s wharf for a few
days, having her boilers overhauled!

Among the interesting cases to be
tried in the city court this week will
be that of Lee Efdwards vs. the Bruns
wick Light and Water Company. Ed
wards is suing tor $5,000. He ran
against a live wire and claims that
he was badly injured. Crovatt and
Whitfield represent the Light and Wa
ter Company, and Max Isaac is Ed
wards’ attorney.

the Charleston exposition arrived in
the city oveir the Plant System yes
terday. Mr. Edward R. Ernst, who is
in Charge of the work, has tue entire
c.ty billed with attractive paper. He
has a large force of assistants and
they are hustlers.
