From the outlook at present we may

An exchange says "suicide is a

Mr. JohiPL. Sullivan, who has been
playing Simon Lagree in an '.Uncle

THE COUNTRY BOY.
The Louisville Courier-Journal has
these kind words for the country boy:
"With moral, physical and intellectual
equipment, the countryhoy begins life
in anew homo with all the advant
ages that come to certain plants that
never thrive until transplanted. The
country boy knows how- these plants
begin to grow and flourish as soon as

under that shock head of hair, spoke

ON A HIGH PLANE.
There is no use in disguising the
fact that there will be some warm
political contests in Glynn county
very soon, and as the easiest way is
always the best, there is but one thing
to do—let the fights he devoid of per
sonalities, etc.
Remember we are all citizens of
one community and we should have
only one motive in view—the up
build ng of this section.
The News, of course, will say
something in the campaign, but all
the candidates can rest assured that
we will treat them honestly. Let it
be a fair fight.
THE SHIPPING RECORD.
The News will publish a complete

It will show up this city as a port

Silence is the virtue that is frequent

If you want to gain a woman's ever

follow it. ,

It sometimes happens that after
gaining a foothold a man is unable to
