A large number of the present county officers will have opposition among the number is Sheriff Berne, who will be opposed by G. \Y. Owens, County Treasurer Lee, who will be opposed by F. M. Scarlett. Tax Re ceiver wuhberley, who will be op posed by \V. E. Dempster, and more candidates to be heard from. It is more than probable that Tax Collector Read and Clerk of the court du Bignon will have no opposition and Coroner Jennings may be lucky in this respect also.
