Mrs. A. M. Smith has returned to
the city, after a visit to Atlanta.
Mrs. A. P. Wells is recovering from
her recent illness.
Mrs Julius May leaves in a few days
for New York.
Miss Julia Jarvis is the guest of
relatives and friends in the city.
Mrs. W. E. Kenner is recovering
from an illness of a few weeks.
Miss Slater’s was crowded to over
flowing on yesterday. There was also
a good crowd at Elkans.
Mr. H. P. Gray has returned to his
home at McDonald, after a visit to
his daughter, Mrs. W. R. Dart.
Master Raymond Raffo, who came
homo ill from Jacksonville some days
ago, is again among his many friends.
The teacher’s normal class met at
the High school building on Monday
afternoon. The meeting was had liy
Mr. .). W. Griffith and Prof. Ballard
also talked interestingly.
The silver tea which is to lie given
at Mrs. W. H. Dyer’s by the Manse
Circle of the Presbyterian elitireh, will
occur on Friday night, instead of Fri
day afternoon, as was stated in yes
terday's paper.

exercising bankruptcy jurisdiction,

.1. Crovatt, Referee in Bankruptcy,
