Glover, the negro w'no adver tised in yesterday’s paper that he had I lost uis wife, came to the News office I yesterday with a smile on his face and said his trouble was all over. His wife just took a little trip up to Ster ling and returned yesterday. Candiates Are Working. Although there is but little political talk in Brunswick and Glynn county at present, the candiates are all work ing a quiet campaign, and are visiting the different precincts in the county. There are only a few officers who have opposition. No Truth in Report. There was no truth in the report that two negroes were drowned near Evelyn Monday. Several people of (hat vicinity were in the city yester day and told a News reporter if any negroes were drowned in that vicinity they had not heard of it. Local Pullman Sleeper to Charleston.
