St. Simon during the summer. The swift little steamer has been fiior ouguiy overhauled and put in a first ciass condition for the summer work. She will land at the new pier. On Retired Listt Captain F. A. Di in. of this city, yesterday received word from the ad jutant general in Atlanta, that he had been placed on the retired list of com missioned officers in the state, and has the right to turn out in any parade of th state troops. Captain Dunn has served as both lieutenant and captain of the Brunswick Riflemen and is one of the most popular offi cers in the state. Registration of Voters. Registration yesterday was quite lively and quite a number had their their names entered on the books. This makes a total of about 700 names enrolled on the registration books. The books will keep open until May 9. There are important primaries to be held this summer for state and coun ty officers and those who desire to have a voice in the selection of the administrators of the state and county affairs can do so by having their names registered before the books close.
