ranged an elaborate program of mil
itary and field day (jxereises for next
Wednesday at St. Simon and will have
as their guests for the day the Veter
ans and Naval Resesves.
A large number of others, too, will
make the trip it being also picnic oc
casion and with the exercises tuat are

one of much pleasure to the public as
wed as being profitable to the military.
The program includes the follow
ing.

The Albany Herald of Yesterday
says:
A telegram from (Cincinnati lias,
brought to Mr, J. W. Kemp, news of
the death of his .nij, J llarrv Kemp,
which Occurred last night
Tuesday's Herald told of the critical
illness of Mr. Kemp in ( 'imaunati. He
mad made his home for several months
past in Birmingham, bnt was the vic
tim of a malady which incapacitated
him tor active work A short time ago
he wont to Cincinnati for tie* purpose
of submitting to the surgeon's j tlu fti in
the hope of regaining his hist 1 oaith,
and ut, the flood Samaritan hospital was *
operated on about-a week ago. After
the opcnition, it semes, the surg.n t #
realized that Mr. Kemp could not re
cover, anil that intelligence was imme
diately wired to Albany.

Harry Kemp was well known in
Brunswick, where he had a large circle
of friends who will be pained to hear of
his death
