BRUNSWICK, GA. , - 1 ARRANGEMENTS FOR THE STATE SHOOT MACON IS PREPARING TO MAKE IT A GREAT SUCCESS THIS MONTH. In connection with the coming shoot the Macon Telegraph of yes tnrday says: Arrangements are be ing made by those managing the state shoot to have a hand participate in the encampment. Evening parades will be held, and the people of Macon will attend in large, numbers. Col. Cnnn, of Savannah, has ex pressed a desire to form a provision al regiment of the company details 1 that will gather at the Macon camps. He expects that there will be enough mein at the shoot to form into nine provisional companies, which will be divided among three battalions and camp life will be enlivened by drills c'lic. The local military will make the) life of the visitors pleasant dur ing their stay. Col. Cann and other prominent mil itary men in the state have decided that the attendance at the state shoot need not be limited to five men from a company. The state will defray the expenses of five men from a company, Imt extra men may be sent by each company in the state, provided the company pays flie transportation. The state will furnish tents for all extra men. Col. Cann has not yet decided lmw many extra men will he allowed hut he will make the announcement, at an early date. 'Team and individual prizes will he announced in a few days. When the local military men decide on the prizes. Col. Cann will prepare a cir cular order relative to the shoot, and these will he distributed among the commanding officers.
