I j Story of Worldwide Search For Wl- Iter Holder. “Yes, mother, this Is I—Walter.” This telephone message received over the long distance wires from Wnsli i ington put an end to the anguish and 1 suspense of Mrs. Paul S. Bolger. whose I eighteen-year-old sou disappeared from their magniiieent home in Yonkers six months ago, says the New York Jour nal. The lad lias been searched for the world over. Every United Slates con sul on earth has been applied to to search for him, the police of every city in the United States and nearly every seaport abroad have been on the lookout for tile boy who left home i without a word of explanation, and in I the end he was located by bis father, a wealthy contractor, on board of the United States training ship Franklin and by him brought to Washington. The father found him by searching the enlistments and recognized his son’s description on the government list. Ho dropped out of sight on Nov. 19, 1901. having drawn his money, several hundred dollars, from the bank, and after that it was as if the earth bad opened and swallowed him. Adver tisements brought 110 response except an effort from outsiders to extort mon ey from 11 family’s sorrow, and until the other day the Bolgers did not know If their son was living or dead. With a kiss and a smile from his mother Walter left his home ostensi bly to visit n local dentist to have his teeth attended to. Hi- gave not the slightest intimation of his intention to leave home, and his failure to return caused the greatest conjectures, in quiry at the dentist's office revealed the information that Walter had not been there. The situation was be wildering and terrifying to ids parents, and from that time forward a search was instituted that included investiga tion so fnrroaehing Hint it is probably unparalleled. The longer the delay Iho deeper the distracted parents plunged into their work, but for once publicity failed to lend the slightest assistance in finding the boy. The other night the Bolger home on Sunny-side drive was nquiver with ex citement and delight. “Happy?” said the mother, “llapp.v Indeed; I’ve found my boy. I know it now. I heard his voice over the tele phone.” McDuffie's Tasteless Chill Cure will bnijd up broken down systems asd make the blood rich and healthy, cer tain cure for chills, guaranteed or your money refunded.
