PUBLISHERS NOTICE.
The News Publishing Company de
sires it to be distinctly understood that
all legal advertisements must be paid
for In advance. We cannot afford to
devote our space to such advertise

It U all over now and the people
should bo glad of' it.
There will be a few lines telling
bow it happened but that is all.
Wonder what Dupont Guerry will
have to Jump on, now t'aat the cam
paign is ended.
The Tampa city election is over and
Editor Stovall of the Tribune is happy
over his splendid victory.
Now let's give politics the marble
heart for two years and get down to
work for Brunswick again.
it is safe to say that King Edward's
custom of having two birthdays would
never be popular with the ladies.

The gubernatorial! candidates have
no reason to be ashamed of their votes
In Glynn county. The returns show
that they all 'nave frieodss hero.
Yesterday’s primary in Glynn coun
ty while, stubbornly contested was a
pleasant good natural affair. In which
bitterness, strife and wrangling played
no part.
An exchange printed the picture of
a society woman who had 300 dresses.
The New Holland Review wants to
know why she didn't put one of them
on when she sat for the picture.
With congress adding three white
stars to our flag and Mr. Morgan add
ing the White Star to our merchant
marine, the Valdosta Times thinks the
expansionists still seem to 'nave the
best of it.
It will be observed that Mr. Roose
velt does not cite the burning of a ne
ttl'd in Colorado nr.d the lynching of
negro in New York as a conclusive
vindication of Kill-aml-Burn Smith in
the Philippines, remarks the Commer.
rial Appeal.
France offers a little over SI,OOO
reward for information as to the
whereabouts of the Humberts. This
pair of swindlers cleaned France out
so thoroughly that it would perhaps
be inconvenient to scrape together
a larger reward.
OUR YOUNG MEN.
It is time for the young men of
Brunswick to step forward, and got
together 1 in a united effort to get more
Industries and to induce new citizens
to locate here.
A city must either go forward,, or
backward. It cannot stand still.
While Brunswick has grown during
the pat year, yet it is true the advance
has not been as great as" it should
have been.
Suppose the energy and money ex
pended in politics in this community
were turned into the channel of giving
Brunswick an industrial boost. We
could build a big manufacturing plant
every few months. ,
But lets get away from politics for a
few minutes today, and have an ex
amination at an experience meeting
about Brunswlrk’ condition and fu.
ture prosperity In reference to
| Brunswick’s condition it may be said
that it is all right, and that it is
fronting a brighter future than ever.
But now let each reader of this ask
i himself or herself what Brunswick
needs to push her forward and what
I
is the beat plan to pursue. Let tis
talk it over, and discuss it thoroughly.
We know we have as good people
and as smart business men men as
are to be found anywhere. If they
wLll unite together as one man they
can accomplish wonders.
The hope of Brunswick is in her
young men. The older men who have
borne the brunt of the battle are get
ting ready to step out of the harness.
They do not feel like bearing the bur
den of new enterprises. This is
where the young men must come in.
I>ot us unite together for Brunswick’s
best interests first, last and all the
time, and let them remember that
“God help those who help themselves.”
What Thin Folk Need.
In the greater power of digesting
and assimilating food. For them Dr.
King's Now Lite Pills work wonders.
They tone and regulate the digestive
organs, gently expel all poisons from
iue system, enrich the blood, improve
appetite, rnako healthy flesh. Only

Brain-Food Nonsense.
Another ridiculous food fad has been
branded by the most competent au
thorities. They have dispelled the sil
ly notion that one kind of food is
needed for brain, another for muscles,
ami still another for bones. A correct
diet will not only nourish a particular
part of the body, but it will sustain
every other part. Yet, however, good
your food may Be, its nstriment is de
stroyed by indigestion or dyspepsia.

Love Will F.nd a Way Exemplified
..Again Yesterday.
it The old adage “love will find a
way,” is as old as the proverbial hills,
and yot, the truth of the maxim is
demonstrated every day.
Yesterday Justice Conoly united in
the holy bonds of wedlock, Charles
Mill dr and Aliss Am>i e D. Colson, ot
Camden county, and thereby hangs a
tale.
The young couple have been in cup.
id’s embrace for many months, but
parental objections' prevented the un
ion. Finally the usual step was taken
they took the matter in their own
hands, came to Brunswick yesterday
procured tne necessary license and
were married, returuning to Camden
county last night.
The News extends beat wishes.

backed by a pool of $250,000,000, com- posed of J. Pierpont Morgan, Marshall

We would advise the immediate purchase of all good dividend paying stocks,
