Th.l Missionary Baptist Convention of Gelrgfa, met with the First African Baptist church, this.city, in its 32J an ntial session yesterday. The object of this gathering of negro Baptists is to foster a college, established by them in Macon in 1885 by the late Dr. K. K. Lov.‘. They had the introductory sermon by Rev. \Y. 1.. Jones, subject, “Intelligent manhood." At the close of the morning sermon the welcome address and the response to the same were l delivered.
