The tug Vigilant is now in Savan nah on the marine railway, being thor oughly overhauled. She will return lo work probably the iirsit part of next week. The marine men along this coast are quite anxious to have a lignt ship established and every effort possible is being made to secure it. The steamer New York, reported in | the above arivals, is a Clyde steam >,r, which makes the second one that ■ins been in port tills week, the Carib arriving the first part of the week.
