Ice Boxes, .Refrigerators
Wnite Mountain Refrigerators ha ve a perfect system of cold air cir
culation founded on scientific principles.
If a refrigerator is not built just right it will not take loug for the
extra ice consumed to eat up the cost.
White Mountain Refrigerators have duplex circulation and arc thor
oughly clean. Scientific investigation demosnfrates that dry air is abso
lutely essential to the proper preservation of food, for with dampness de
composition immediately set's in and food becomes spoiled. All ordinary
refrigerators have a defective system of circulation, which causes this
dampness; but by our system the air passes completely over the ice, undei
the ice, and around the ice, not only giving this air the longest possible
contact with the ice, but enabling it to discharge the impure qualities
gathered from the provision chamber in such a manner that the refriger
ator gets the full benefit of the purifying qualities of the ice. In our re
frigerators meats and all perishable artiplets can be preserved for a loug
space of time.

Joe was such n pathetic little man.
lie came from a quarter of the city
where crime and misery had formed
a background for the live weary years
of his unnatural little life. He was late
to kindergarten one morning and was
asked to sit by the door until the morn
ing exercises were over. Before being
restored to grace the teacher asked him
why he was so late. “Well,” replied
Joe, “the patrol came after my mother,
and I waited to see her off.”—Chicago
