"The Fifth String," by John Philip Sousa, the famous composer and mu sician. is a wierd musical novel in which a wonderful violin, a great love and a tragedy of hearts are the sali ent features. The following is the movement of j the vessels at the port of Brunswick yesterday: Arrived—Steamer Rio Grauue, John son, New York. Sailed—Schooner M. \. B. Chase, Peterson, Boston; schooner Goodwin Stoddard, Marshall, New York. The tug Henry Buck was in port yesterday from Jacksonville, and left in the afternoon for Savannah. Captains of vessel# can get their ship notices inserted in the News for $1 50. This is the only lega. organ, but the colored paper inserts these notices for 50 cents, and you should pay no more than the aoove amounts. To make it plain, if your notices ap pear in the News, it is $1.50; if it is published in the colored paper, it is 50 cents. If you are paying more, you are being robbed. The schooner Samuel P.
