That they desire for themselves and their associates to be incorporated under the corporate name and style of “The Southern Land and Cattle Com pany.” 2. That tho object of the proposed corporation is the pecuniary gain of its members, and its special objects are: To buy, own, hold and improve lands and real estate generally, and to sell or otherwise dispose of the same; to buy and sell cattle and outer live stock; to own and maintain slaughter houses; to buy and sell dressed in and other meats; to. buy, own, hold and sell stocks and bonds and per sonal property of any kind; pud gener ally to do such other acts and things as may be deemed for cue best inter est of the corporation, not inconsistent with its charter or tue laws of Geor gia. 3. That said corporation proposes to require the payment of at least ten per centum of tho subscribed capital stock before beginning business. ii. That tho officers of tnojunposed corporation shall be a president, vice president. secretary and treasurer, and such other officers or agents as the stockholders or directors may consti tute or appoint; that the hoard of dir ectors shall consist of not less than three nor more than seven, all of whom shall be shareholders, such dir ectors to be elected by tho snare holders. 7. That the stockholders shall have tne right to make by-laws, rules and regulations for the governmemt of lln corporation, or to delegate this authority to the directors. i>.
