THE BRUNSWICK DAILY NEWS. THEATRICAL. NOTES. A Good Recommendation. Messrs. Fleming and Waff, manager* of tne opera house, have received the following letter from E. D. Wolffe. who is well known in this city, having managed the house the first year it was opened: , Norfolk, Va., Sept. 26th, 1302. I see that you have Mrs. Minnie Tittell Brune In “Unorna” to open the house. 1 witnessed the play here and you can recommend it as one of the very best attractions that ever came to Brunswick; it will surprise your theater goers, liotn acenically and ar tistieally: and the house should be packed. It Is something on the order of the Sign of the Cross. Fields has a fine show this season. E. 1). WOLFFE The reserved seat sale for the initial performance at the opera house for the season of 1002-03, has been very large and Mrs. Brune will surely play to one of the larges audi ences of the season. While the play itself is of course of paramount interest., the orchestra, composed as it will lie, of the best local talent, conies in for a very large share of interest. The leader, Mr. Osborne, is a for mer resident of Brunswick ana has for the past several years been a member of some of the largest and most poomdnpnt orchestras ju the slate. Mr. McDuffie is also recog nized as a splendid amateur violinist, and the rest of the orchestra are well known Brunswickians. excepting Mr. Chandler, who is a recent ac quisition to Brunswick, and warmly welcomed in musical circles. Sound Kidneys—Perfect Health. The use of Smith’s Sure Kidney Cure will produce both. Try a bottle and be convinced.
