treasury bureau of satisfies, show the

the company from choice, but from

The News desires to say that as
far as Major Greene is concerned, fie
nas the confidence and good wishes
of our people generally. From the
very first day, he reached Brunswick
he has made friends' and the unpopu
larity of the Brunswick Light and Wa
ter Company cannot he laid at his
door. - We know he has encountered
obstacles, and, in our judgment, his
tils management of the company nas
been satisfactory to all parties con
cerned.
The new company will take charge
on January 1, and wo predict for it
increased prosperity and general .suc
cess.
It looks very much like tno demo
