Faithful.
It is something swot, when the world
goes ill,
To know yon are faithful and love me
still.
To see when the sunshine ‘has left
the skies,
The love-light shining in your eyes.
Beautiful eyes, more dear to me.
Than all the wealth of the world
could he;
it is somthing, dearest, to feel you
near
When life with its sorrows seems
hard to hear.
To feel, when I falter, the clggp divine
Of your lender and trusting hand in
mine.
Beautiful hand, more dear to me
Than the tenderest tilings of earth
could lie.
Sometimes, dearest, the world goes
wrong,
For Ood gives grief, with Ills gift of
song,
And poverty too. But your love is
more
To me. than riches and golden store.
Beautiful love, until dety.li shall part
ft is mine as you are—-ray own sweet
heart.
