Schooner Viola Reppard, Williams, Boston. , fi y River Notes. The tug Vigilant left for Savannh last, night. She will tow the distress ed schooner John Rose from that port to Washington. It will be remembet ed that the schooner put into Savan nah a few days ago leaking. Tlie schooner M. V. B. Chase, which returned to port Monday in distress, having sprung a leak, is not in a eon dition to sail to her destination and will probably have to bo towed. B. Padrosa nas a large fleet of re sets chartered to load here within UK next few months, among them being three full rigged ships, three steamers, two harks, oue barkentine.
