AMUSEMENTS ON THANKSGIVING A VERY INTERESTING PROGRAM OF SPORTS IS BEING ARRANG ED FOR THE DAY. It is probable that Thanksgiving day will be an unusually lively one in the amusement line tills year. Arrangements are now being made to arrange a very interesting program of sports for the day. consisting of boat, horse and bicycle races, and other amusements. The owners of a number of small sailing craft have already interested themselves in thr* matter, and are n £ jw arranging for a race around Marsh Island. Among tne boats that will probably enter the race will be trie Nica, Unknown, Carolina and a number of others. It has been suggested that the day he made a great one. The military companies may participate and help with the amusements. It is probable that a committee will he appointed at an early date to arrange the prelimi naries. Bid3 Wanted.
